Holland Industry uses business and personal information to operate its wholesale portal, review account applications, provide quotations, process orders, arrange pickup and shipping, support customers and protect the website.

Information we collect

Information may include business and contact names, legal and trading names, email addresses, telephone numbers, billing and shipping addresses, account and order references, business type, purchasing interests, communications, payment and transaction records, shipping details, uploaded documents that a customer chooses to provide, and website activity such as pages viewed, searches, device information, cookies and approximate location derived from an IP address.

How information is used

We use information to respond to enquiries; assess wholesale eligibility; create and administer approved accounts; provide account pricing; prepare quotations and orders; process payments; prevent fraud; coordinate carriers, suppliers and service providers; send operational messages; maintain records; improve navigation and products; measure website performance; and comply with legal, tax, accounting and safety obligations. An application does not automatically create an approved account.

Cookies and analytics

Essential cookies maintain login, cart and security sessions. Analytics may measure visits, searches and shopping-funnel activity. Public links and analytics reporting are designed not to expose session identifiers. Browser controls can limit non-essential cookies, but blocking essential cookies may prevent login, cart or checkout functions.

Sharing and safeguards

Information may be shared with employees and contractors who need it for their work, payment processors, hosting and security providers, email and communications services, suppliers, carriers, professional advisers and authorities where required. Holland Industry does not sell wholesale customer information. Service providers receive only the information reasonably needed for their role.

Reasonable administrative, technical and physical safeguards are used, but no internet or storage system can be guaranteed completely secure. Confidential pricing and authenticated account pages are not intended for public indexing or caching.

Retention and choices

Records are retained for as long as needed for the purposes above, account and warranty support, dispute handling, security and legal or accounting requirements. A business contact may ask to review or correct contact information, update communication preferences, or ask a privacy question. Some records must be retained even after an account closes.
